Business Visa from India to Denmark
- A business visa for Denmark is issued for a 90-day business visit to Denmark.
- This visa is a Schengen visa and can be used for an unrestricted entry into other Schengen states.
- The Denmark business visa does not allow its holder to work unless the immigration service has granted them the explicit right to do so.
- You can however carry out certain work-related activities without a work permit if you are visiting for less than 90 days.
- If you have to travel to Denmark several times, you can apply for a long-stay visa which allows multiple entries into the country.
- To be eligible for this visa, your passport must be valid for three months beyond the expiration date of your visa and should not have been issued for over 10 years.
- Travel insurance coverage worth € 30,000 is also required. It would be used to take care of any emergency that can arise in Denmark during your stay.
- Accommodation is also required. The reservation should be valid through the visa application period.
- If you remain in Denmark after your visa expires or if you attempt to use your visa stay to obtain permanent or long-term residency in Denmark, you can be given a penalty period of 3 or 5 years.
- Anyone given a penalty would not be able to visit Denmark for that period.
- The visa costs 60 euro for individuals above 12 years old, 35euro for children between 6-11 years and free of charge for children of 0-6 years.
