Tourist Visa from India to Taiwan Description

Indians traveling to Taiwan for tourism purposes should apply for the Taiwan tourist visa.
This visa is valid for 90 days and cannot be extended.
The applicant is required to have a return ticket, this shows that they have the incentive of returning to their country after their stay expires.
The applicant must provide proof of accommodation in form of hotel bookings or addressing of sponsor they will be staying with.
Vaccination against yellow fever and Hepatitis A is required. Proof of these must be provided.
Travelers are required to declare cash amounts over 100,000 New Taiwan Dollars (TWD) upon entry.
Taiwan shows no leniency for medical or recreational marijuana. Carrying or shipping marijuana into Taiwan is prosecuted as drug trafficking.
Taiwan has strict regulations on importing/exporting firearms, other weapons, drugs, antiquities, currency, ivory & other animal products, fruits & plants, and many other items.
To detect and prevent the spread of diseases, Taiwan scans the body temperature of all arriving passengers with an infrared thermal apparatus.
Public transportation is cheap, convenient, and generally safe. Taxis and buses may swerve to the side of the road to pick up passengers with little notice or regard for other vehicles.

An Indian passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
Duly completed and signed visa application form.
If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
Passport-size photographs (35 mm x 45 mm ) taken in grey background.

Copy of return flight ticket.

A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
