Places in Work visa

This visa is issued to people who want to work in Italy for a period of time. Applicants of this visa need to get a work permit first. Finding jobs in Italy can be easier than in other European countries. Foreigners wishing to live and work in Italy can also apply for a Working Holiday Visa. Work permits must be applied for by the employer. Applicants are advised to apply for a residence permit as early as possible, ideally as soon as they have the employee contract. A copy of the employment contract signed by both the employer and the employee should be provided. You are expected to submit a copy of your Curriculum Vitae or resume during the visa application process. Original and photocopy of the Work permit issued by the Italian Immigration Office should be submitted. All the documents to be submitted should be provided in original and copy. It might take a few months to process your application so it is advised that applicants be conscious of which address receives their work permit.

This visa is for Indians whose purpose of traveling to South Africa is to take up paid employment. The visa application form of applicants should be accompanied with proof of acknowledgment from the Department of Labor. A letter of employment from your future employer should be provided. The letter should state the address of the company and your job position. The contract of employment, that determines the conditions of employment and is signed by both the employer and employee. This document should be in line with the labor norms in South Africa. Your employer should prove that you will not be paid lower than the average salary and benefits of citizens that have the same job in the country. Before you are offered this job, you must have proof that you have the required qualifications and experience that suits the job. Your future employer must provide a document showing proof that there was no South African willing and available to take up the job. Proof of skills evaluated by SAQA and translated by a denominated translator into one of the official languages of South Africa must be provided. Proof of registration of the business with the Commission on Intellectual Property and Companies   (CIPC)  of your future employer must be provided. Your family members are allowed to come visit you, but they are required to apply for a South African relative visa. This visa is  valid for a minimum period of 24 months and may be extended. For applicants 18 years and older, a police clearance certificate is required. A medical and radiological report of applicants is required.

Indians looking to travel to Denmark for employment purposes can apply for the Danish work visa. If you’re coming to work in a role which is paid significantly above the average wage, or for an employer who has been approved by the government as an international recruiter, you can apply for this visa. All applicants must give bio-metric data, including photographs and fingerprints. Applicants are required to register for a residence permit. Travelers are required to register their stay at the local police station. It is your own responsibility to obtain a work permit if you are required to. If you work illegally in Denmark, you risk deportation, and you and your employer risk fine or imprisonment. The Danish government has a 'positive list' that consists of professions and sectors which are currently experiencing a shortage of qualified and skilled professionals. People with a job in any of these sectors have easy access to the Danish labor market. Job offer letter should specify salary and employment conditions. The minimum educational level required for a position on the Positive List is a Professional Bachelor's degree. Job offers are required to carry a gross annual pay of no less than DKK 375,000.

The Slovakian work visa is issued to Indians traveling to Slovakia for work purposes. The employer is required to register the foreigner (employee) to the Labour, Social Affairs and Family Office within 7 days of the foreigner's arrival. Foreigners are required to register social insurance before the start of the work. Health Insurance system registration is also important. The foreigner must register within 8 days of arrival into Slovakia. Indians who want to work in Slovakia should apply for a temporary residence permit and also a work permit. Work permits can be issued for up to 2 years or 5 years depending on the international treaty. For seasonal workers work permits can be issued for up to 90 days for 12 consecutive months. Work permit is non-transferable. It is issued for a specific employment with a specific employer and it is also binding as to the type of work and place of work. If you want to change your employer, you will have to apply for a new work permit. Work permits are issued by the Labor Office locally competent according to your future place of work.  Applicants should make sure that their employer report a job vacancy at least 10 working days before submitting the application for a work permit. The application for a work permit must be submitted with the following documents: Official application form for a work permit printed, signed and completed in Slovak language. Copy of the document on residence. Contract of employment or written promise of employment. Educational qualifications. Written power of attorney (this is needed if the application is submitted on your behalf  by your future employer or by the company you were deployed to).

Indians looking to work in Slovenia are required to apply for the Slovenian work visa. The company looking to employ a foreign citizen has to meet one of the following conditions in order to apply for work permit for the foreign citizen: Have at least 1 person employed in the company in the last 6 months before applying for the permit. Have at least 10.000 euro of turnover every month in the last 6 months before applying for the permit. Applicants who have at least university degree can obtain a work permit without meeting the upper mentioned conditions. Applicants can apply for a residence permit, this is after their work permit has been approved. The residence permit can be extended if you meet the following conditions: Proof of work (received salaries) and official forms must be provided. A valid passport must be provided. Proof of health travel insurance must be provided. Evidence of conditions fulfilled must be attached. A non-conviction certificate; not older than 3 months from India and translated into Slovenian must be provided. The bank account statement showing you have means for supporting yourself is required. Proof of health insurance in Slovenia is required from the applicant. You might be invited for an interview.

Indians traveling to Mexico for work purposes are required to apply for the Mexican work visa. A signed letter of authorization from the Mexican Immigration Office with the NUT (Número Único de Trámite) number must be provided. Applicants must provide a signed letter of job offer from company in Mexico. Signed letter of registration of the company or employer (Constancia de Inscripción de Empleador) is also required. Letter of Notification of Authorization of Visa received by the Mexican Company is required. The following documents are to be provided by the employer: Permit application form. Copy of the Articles of Incorporation and amendments. Proof of payment of quarterly taxes. List of company employees and their nationalities. Copy of the legal representatives’ identification. Letters of support signed by the legal representative. Notarized letter confirming the employee’s employment. Applicants are required to provide a letter from their employer stating the agreed salary and their relevant technical ability (in some cases this must be accompanied by a photocopy of an official ID of the person who signed it). Original and copy qualification certificates is required. Original and copy of the last six month's pay slips/stubs must be provided by the applicant. Applicants are required to provide a birth certificate and their resume. Proof of payment of visa fees is required. Once your work permit has been acquired, you are required to apply for a residence permit.

The Brazilian work visa is issued to Indians traveling to Brazil for work purposes. A letter verifying the applicant’s employment is required. Applicants are advised to be sure  they have been offered a job in  Brazil  before initiating the application. A letter from your future employer should be submitted.   The letter should be written on the company’s letterhead and should state the address of the company and your job description. Your employment contract which determines the terms of employment signed by both the employer and the employee is required. Your employer will need to provide p roof   that there was no  Brazilian  willing and available to take up the job before you were offered the job. Applicants of this visa who do not have the right qualification which matches the job they have been offered may not be issued this visa. Proof from your employer that you will not be paid below the minimum wage paid to citizens of the country. If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required. A notarized consent signed by both the minor’s parent should also be submitted. The short-term work visa which is valid for 90 days can be obtained by foreign nationals willing to work in Brazil by getting an approval directly from the Brazilian consular offices. The applicant needs to provide the contract that has been signed as proof to the immigration department.
