While juggling between various staying options in Varawal/Beda, I had a hunch that Varawal leopard camp would not disappoint, and our 3 night stay proved to be just that.
The camps are set in a big open farm land, which gives them the,"Far from the madding crowd," feel.
We saw Leopards in their habitat along with a Hyena and a whole lot of birds.
On our special request, we went for spotting the, "Eagle Owls'', which were resting camouflaged on a tree at the top of a granite hill.
Breakfast by the Jawai Dam, overlooking the huge water body and scenic surroundings was well conducted.
