Tourist Visa from India to Turkey
- The Tourist Visa is for foreigners visiting Turkey for various purposes. It is otherwise referred to as the Tourist/Businessperson visa.
- The purposes include touristic visit, single transit, double transit, business meeting/commerce, conference, festivals/fair exhibition, sportive activity, cultural activity, and official visit.
- Applicants of Turkish visas are to schedule appointments with the Turkish consular offices in their country via Pre-Application System to receive the Turkish Sticker Visa.
- The applicants who meet the necessary requirements would be directed to use the e-Visa system.
- Some of the applicants of this visa may have been invited by a friend or relative who lives in the country.
- If you have been invited by a friend or relative in Turkey, an invitation letter from your host is required. On the letter of invitation from your host, the valid home address and telephone number of the host should be clearly stated.
- If you are employed, a letter of confirmation of employment and salary statements for the last three months is required.
- The holders of the tourist visa are not permitted to be enrolled in any of the institutions of learning in the country.
- There are two categories of Tourist Visa: Single-entry and Multiple-entries. The multiple-entry visa cannot be issued to first-time travelers.
- Minors should ensure that they have the original copy of their birth certificate during the visa application process. A notarized letter of consent signed by applicants’ parents should also be provided if they are under the age of 18 years.
- A document that proves that you have the incentive of returning to your country should be provided.
- Proof of paid visa application fee is to be submitted.
- If you are below the age of 30 years, a certificate of good conduct is required.
- You are expected to obey the terms of your visa.
- All Turkish Visas are issued for a maximum stay of 90 days. Applicants who would be staying for more than 90 days are expected to apply for a Short Term Residence Permit to be able to extend their stay.
- This is to be applied for at the Provincial Directorate of Migration Administration.
