This visa allows foreigners to transit through Russia to their destination country. Flight ticket to the destination country is required. You are also required to have the visa of your destination country. The visa is issued for 72 hours if you traveling by air, or for up to 10 days if using other means of transportation. Holders of this visa are not allowed to work or study while they are in the country. Your payment for this visa should be made by money order or cashier’s check (not cash). Minors should ensure they have an unabridged original copy of their birth certificate. Transit visas for Russia cannot be extended.

The transit visa for France is referred to as the Airport Transit Visa (ATV). An Airport Transit Visa (ATV) is required to be able to go through any Schengen state. The ATV type should be the multiple ATV that authorizes several transits through Schengen states. The visa application form for the Schengen visa should be electronically filled after which the hard copy of the filled form should be printed. Fingerprints are required for a Schengen Visa so the applicant has to be physically present at the embassy during the application. A passport with a validity of at least three months beyond the return date should be submitted alongside the duly completed visa application form. There should be two copies of the passport photo page having the address of the applicant. Two recently taken passport photos should also be attached. Applicants are advised to ensure that they bring along all the required documents to the embassy as incomplete documentation could lead to delay or visa denial. On arrival at the country of transit, you are expected to remain in the international zone of the airport until you are connected to your final destination.

This visa is issued to foreigners who want to transit from Poland to any other country. It is referred to as the Type-A visa and has two sub-divisions: Airport Transit Visa and Transit Visa. It is also a Schengen visa and it allows you to move from one Schengen country to another without any other kind of visa. An onward ticket to the destination country is required. Applicants issued this visa would be restricted from carrying out activities peculiar to those issued other types of visas. They are also expected to leave at the expiration of the visa. Transit visas are issued for 24 hours-5 days depending on the sub-type gotten.

An airport transit visa is issued to travelers who want to travel through Finland to another country. You will need an airport transit visa if your final destination is a country outside the Schengen area. The airport transit visa does not permit you to leave the airport. Applicants of this visa should be in possession of the visa of the destination country. Holders of this visa are not allowed to take up permanent residence in Finland. Holders of this visa should have a flight ticket to their destination country.
